heads or tails, haiku of Jörgen Johansson
Jörgen Johansson is no stranger to English-language haiku and senryu aficionados. His humorous and instantly identifiable renderings of human aspiration and folly have delighted us in two previous Red Moon Press publications, the firefly’s signature and half way through. This new collection will, as the title suggests, keep you on edge, wondering just how things will turn out. Primarily in English, with a few poems in Swedish as well.
“A capital YES for the haiku and senryu gathered in heads or tails! Whether written in dust or on the pages of his journal, these are poems of depth and dimension, probability and possibility, fortitude and frailty, the winged and wingless, expressed with a gentle wit and wisdom gleaned through the heart.”
